Jacob started his career in sound back in high school at Fairfield High School in Fairfield, PA. By his sophomore year, he was running sound for the all of the schools functions, such as plays, musicals, music department concerts, board meetings, etc. After high school Jacob ventured on to further his knowledge in sound and get certification in Recording Arts & Sound Sciences from the AMP (Academy for Media Production). Once the certification was completed, he attained a job as a Production Technician at ASP (All Sound Pro).
Ever since joining the team at ASP, Jacob has had many challenging tasks thrown at him; activities such as Gettysburg Rocks, Systems Tech for Hanover Chili Cook Off, Sound Engineer for Totem Pole’s production of A Christmas Carol, remote recordings/studio recordings at AMP, corporate A/V presentations, and house engineer for the Majestic Theatre in Gettysburg, PA.
Jacob has experience in live sound, studio recording, theatre productions, custom A/V installs, being a system tech, and front of house and monitoring engineering. Jacob is known as the “super tech nerd” of ASP, because he is constantly staying on top of the new technology and implementing it as much as he can into the multiple sound systems.
